At Bricolage Behavioral Health, we take teen mental health seriously. Our mission is to provide exceptional, evidence-based care for adolescents in Trophy Club and the surrounding communities. With more than 13,000 residents calling Trophy Club home as of 2023, the need for accessible youth mental health support continues to grow.
We don’t believe “doing fine” is enough—every teen deserves the opportunity to thrive. Our team helps young people strengthen resilience, build confidence, and develop healthy coping skills so they can move past the challenges standing in the way of their full potential.
Here’s how we make that happen—and why our approach creates lasting change.
Many treatment centers describe their programs as “evidence-based,” meaning they rely on research-backed methods proven to support better mental health. At Bricolage Behavioral Health, we hold that same standard. Every therapy we offer is grounded in proven results, ensuring your teen’s time in treatment is spent on what truly helps them heal. But we take it a step further.
Real progress continues outside the therapy room. True wellness comes from learning to manage life’s challenges with confidence and independence. That’s why our Trophy Club team tailors every skill to each teen’s needs and reinforces those lessons through consistent, hands-on practice until they feel natural.
Through this process, teens strengthen key life skills such as:
Creating sustainable self-care habits
Several features make Bricolage stand out as a one-of-a-kind teen mental health center. We’ll share just a few.
Therapy helps teens gain insight, but true growth happens when they can apply what they’ve learned beyond the walls of treatment. At Bricolage Behavioral Health near Trophy Club, we emphasize active skill-building, giving teens the chance to practice new strategies until they become part of everyday life. This approach builds confidence and ensures progress continues long after treatment ends.
Rather than focusing on mistakes, we highlight strengths. Our team celebrates effort, growth, and positive decision-making, guiding teens through challenges with steady encouragement and constructive feedback. This strengths-based model helps teens feel capable, supported, and empowered to take ownership of their progress.
At Bricolage, teens build practical, real-world skills such as:
Because every teen is unique, each treatment plan is customized to reflect their individual strengths, challenges, and goals. Every part of care is intentionally designed to support lasting growth and self-confidence.

Our team includes psychiatrists, nurses, and licensed mental health professionals who specialize in adolescent care. We’re dedicated to helping teens grow—and we hold ourselves to the same standard. By continuing to learn, apply new research, and refine our approach, we make sure every client in our Lantana program receives care that’s current, evidence-based, and tailored to their unique needs.

Bricolage Behavioral Health offers two main levels of care for teens: our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), also known as day treatment, and our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
The right level of care depends on where each teen is in their recovery journey. Both programs provide structured support, professional guidance, and the flexibility needed to help adolescents heal at their own pace.
Here’s a quick look at how they compare:
| What’s The Program? | What Does a Week Look Like? | How Long Does It Last? | Who Benefits Most? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Intensive outpatient (IOP) | Three-hour meetings three days a week. Weekly health check-in and medication check-in. Various therapies are based on your teen’s recovery goals, including whole-group therapy. | Depends on your teen’s needs, but six weeks on average. Can be adjusted as needed, and there’s no “wrong” timeline. | Teens who need treatment, but want to remain in traditional schooling, the majority of the time. They are healthy enough to function safely in their regular lives and apply the skills they learn in therapy immediately. |
| Partial hospitalization/day program (PHP) | Six-hour days, five days a week. Weekly health check-in and medication check-in twice weekly. Two hours of academic support time daily. Various therapies are based on your teen’s recovery goals, including whole-group therapy and family therapy. | Depends on your teen’s needs, but six weeks on average. Can be adjusted as needed, and there’s no “wrong” timeline. After the conclusion of PHP, teens will attend IOP, coming out to a total of 12 weeks of treatment on average. | Teens who need a more intensive, structured treatment plan. Their mental health may interfere significantly enough that attending regular school isn’t reasonable. |
At Bricolage Behavioral Health, we understand that every teen’s mental health journey is unique. Adolescence brings major emotional and social changes, and the challenges that come with it can be complex. Many of the teens in our Trophy Club program face multiple or overlapping conditions, while others simply know they’re struggling but don’t yet have a formal diagnosis.
Every teen who needs support is welcome at Bricolage. No concern is too small, and no challenge is too great to work through with help.
Our Trophy Club team provides comprehensive care for a variety of mental health concerns, including:

When it’s helpful, our clinicians can provide formal mental health diagnoses. But at Bricolage Behavioral Health near Lantana, our focus goes deeper—we treat the why, not just the what. Labels can sometimes clarify what’s happening, but they don’t always tell the whole story.
When it’s appropriate, our clinicians can provide formal mental health diagnoses. But at Bricolage Behavioral Health, our focus goes deeper—we work to understand the why, not just the what. A diagnosis can help explain symptoms, but it doesn’t always capture the full picture of what a teen is experiencing.
Here’s why we look beyond the label:
Here are a few qualities that make our program stand out:
We could tell you that Bricolage Behavioral Health offers exceptional care—but what truly sets us apart? Why do so many families across Texas trust our Trophy Club team to support their teens and guide them toward lasting wellness?
Here are a few qualities that make our program unique:
In movies, group therapy is often shown as a circle of people taking turns to talk—one person speaks while everyone else listens and waits. While that traditional format can be helpful, we believe teens benefit from something far more interactive and impactful.
At Bricolage Behavioral Health, our whole-group therapy is designed to keep teens engaged, active, and learning throughout every session. Here’s how we make it work:
This approach keeps therapy purposeful, interactive, and empowering, helping teens build lasting confidence and practical skills they can carry into daily life.
At Bricolage Behavioral Health near Trophy Club, we look beyond diagnoses and symptoms to understand each teen as a complete individual. We want to know what motivates them, what brings them joy, what strengthens their confidence, and what stands in their way. These personal details matter—they shape how healing starts and how meaningful growth happens. Our team takes time to listen and build genuine trust. We know it can be difficult for teens to open up about their feelings or challenges, especially in a new environment. That trust becomes the cornerstone of healing. When teens feel safe, supported, and truly heard, they’re more open to engaging in treatment and taking an active role in their own recovery.
At Bricolage Behavioral Health near Trophy Club, our goal is to help teens create lasting, positive changes in the brain. With consistent practice of healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, and new ways of thinking, the brain can rewire itself for greater balance and resilience. These neurological shifts form the foundation for long-term healing rather than short-term relief.
Medication can support this process, but it’s just one part of the bigger picture. We see it as a temporary tool—like training wheels—providing stability while teens strengthen the skills needed to manage their symptoms independently. Whether medication remains part of a treatment plan depends on each teen’s individual needs, but it is never the only path to recovery.

Bricolage Behavioral Health provides specialized mental health treatment for teens near Trophy Club, Texas, and nearby communities. Our team takes the time to understand each teen’s story—their goals, challenges, and unique strengths—to build a treatment plan that fits them as an individual.
